Writing from New Zealand here. I’ve been exploring alternative funding streams for firms & I’ve also wondered why there aren’t more social-enterprise law firm models operating globally. I work for The Salvation Army & the founders of the movement/church had an idea called the Poor Man’s Lawyer. This idea came to life through the Salvos Legal boutique law firm. Unfortunately, the Army has stopped Salvos Legal. But I remain interested in the ideas. Thanks for the article. God bless
